[PART EIGHT: NINE HEARTSTRINGS]

Although we've touched on the four elements in our previous section: PART SIX: HEART ANALYSIS, here we explain in more detail the various personalities that many intuitive psychologists believe that most people fit within. In my personal experience, I would have to say that most people are a combination of two or more elemental types, as described below, though many have a dominant element which determines major personality development issues. All in all, you decide. Here is an opportunity for you to look deeper at yourself, and decide whether or not any of these fit and if they fit what you plan to do about it. You may not want or have to do anything, but the information is here to improve your self awareness.

button Fire

Also known as "Intuitives", the personalities dominated by the fire element tend to focus on the question: "Why?" above everything else. They may typically ask questions such as "What is the meaning of this? What is the meaning of life? How does this relate to the big picture?" They are also likely to be active in spiritual life and education. Astrologically: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are the fire signs, and those born under these signs sometimes strongly exhibit the fire personality.

Activity for Fire People:
Get out a sheet of paper and something to write with. At the top of the page, write the word "Why?". Now ponder that word for a moment and begin to write an answer. It doesn't have to make sense. Let your response flow naturally and then go back and read it at a future date.See if what you have written helps with the situations in your life at that time.

button Earth
Also known as "Doers", the personalities dominated by the earth element tend to focus on the question: "How?" above everything else. They may typically ask questions such as "What can I do? How much will this cost? When do you want this done?" They are also likely to be active in business and personal life. Astrologically: Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are the earth signs, and those born under these signs sometimes strongly exhibit the earth personality.

Activity for Earth People:

button Air
Also known as "Thinkers", the personalities dominated by the air element tend to focus on the question: "What?" above everything else. They may typically ask questions such as "What can I learn from this situation? What do we know about this current crisis? What does the data tell us." Air people are likely to be active in government, education, and scientific and research industries. Astrologically: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius are the air signs, and those born under these signs sometimes strongly exhibit the air personality.

button Water
Also known as "Feelers", the personalities dominated by the water element tend to focus on the question: "Who?" above everything else. They may typically ask questions such as "How can I help out? Let's discuss this and find a solution that works for everyone? Do you require any assistance with that?" Water people are likely to be active in government, and in mental health industries. Astrologically: Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio are the water signs, and those born under these signs sometimes strongly exhibit the water personality.
